Late Sunday afternoon jog in Laupenau. Difficult to find the needed energy. My Love feeling all sore and tired, myself feeling bashed still from the Uplift session I did yesterday morning. Even walking seems torture. Laupenau despite our state we are in, shows its charme. We spot three young ducklings. They are black and a little bigger kind than what we normally see. Very sweet. And beautiful blue dragonflies are around. I walk back to the car, my Love does an extra loop. This gives me a chance to look around at Camperland and reminissing in my precious memories of Hopi.
I feel like I’m dragging myself, for anything I’m trying to do today. Known and familiar sensation. I hate it.
Nevertheless, I know better. A sunny Sunday, in June, jogging alongside my best friend? You’d be too dumb to not see reasons to be grateful.
Looking at it with a tad measure of self-awareness, I see many reasons to be grateful and doing this keeps me sane, happy even: the warm feeling of the sun rays on my skin, the fireflies color in metal blue flying around us, the silent sound of our strides in the wooden patch, the variety of bird songs, reaching the car not seeing little gem and a short while later realizing she’s checking the camper vans further down the road.
