#27
We leave early in the morning for the loop. Before setting up the new irrigation system for the flowers on our terrace and balcony and packing-up for the trip to le Sud.
Looking forward to see the new home of our friends.
Got up at dawn. I have to drag myself but reach the outside, kind of fresh but far from chill. First day lights brush the sky, I head toward Törishaus along the Sense. Heavy strides, it’s more of an effort than usual to actually go out and run. I put the blame on the heat, that makes me even more tired than usual.
Anyways, I reach the bridge to head back on the other side of the river. Barely crossing anyone at this early time of the day, my mind slowly wakes up and start to look forward to our upcoming holiday. I’m suprised to see my watch reporting an 11km loop, I thought that would rather be around 8.
Back home, Little Gem did not move an inch since I left and figure out it’s better to use that sleep time. She has so often issues with sleeping. So I go clean the car before we do our own loop.
I think that was a good decision, when I bring her coffee she’s still numb from the deep sleep. We savor our coffee in bed, she wakes up slowly bothered by some mean dreams.
Blaukorn still all around, we go for our last home loop on this juneathon. It’s still early morning but the sun warms our back like it would already be lunch time.
