#21 Fox day

Evening loop ‘vita parcours’. Well, not much vita in my body. I dress up anyway in my sports gear, maybe I can trick my body. As we start my sparing partner starts dribling and my body follows. Tiny steps, but I follow through all along the 2.6 km. My Love simply walks beside me. I try to motivate him to incorporate the exercises of the parcours. No chance! We enjoy, seeing plenty birds and a fox and the forest is pleasant during this ongoing heatwave. Driving home while he does his run, in his pace. At home I find no keys, so waiting and meditating back on the bench by the tree. Not too long and he’s back! It’s our significant 21st and we end the day under another tree on another bench with a nice view towards the mountains and surrounded by plenty flowers. Five years, once more with Bubbles and strawberries!

Driving towards Laupen we catch sight of the first of the several foxes we’ll get the chance to observe today. Our choice today goes to the Vita Parcours, a lovely loop in the forest.

Little Gem is tired but willing. She turns to slow jogging pace, I push her in the uphills. We both take in the wonderful light, the concert of bird songs and again a couple of foxes along the way. We are grateful for being here surrounded by such a beautiful nature, wherever around our home it seems we can get this feeling.

We finish the 2.6km loop and are back to the car, we smile.

She takes the car back home (the home key was in the left door compartment!) while I extend my loop: through the forest, back to Wyden, up to Bramberg, through our forest and home. It’s good to have some me time after some disturbing family news. I try to figure out. I try to keep my peace. Breathe, cherish the positive, let go the bad, leave behind the questionable…
