It’s been a hot day! It started slowly. After the thunderstorm last night, temperatures came down and I had a good night, sleeping in unusually long. Weekly shopping in the morning and us-time in the afternoon. Prepared my first ever cherry clafuti (cherries we got this morning in the neighborhood where we pick up the eggs). Thereafter the loop, still hot, by body is not used to this kind of temperatures, and running. My Love needs an extra loop, me a very cold shower and on the preparing the mussel-ditali-pasta. My best friend needs an extra portion of Love and (hopefully) good food today.
For a change, we head for our loop in the evening. We barely see that a day earlier a heavy storm was raging (even had to pull out the car and find shelter because of the hail), it’s again quite warm despite the late hour.
Our loop finished, I keep going for a bit to expell some of my anger. Or is it sadness? Or disappointment? Or WHAT?
I’m spoiled because I know I have this safe home, a place where I can process this kind of emotions in absolute safety. Beyond that, I’m supported in figuring out my way through these moments. A friend. My soulmate.
