A real slow-jog-clockwise-loop. This time, without stopping. Did take out the book again to go through the basics. Fast pace (not there yet), tiny steps (can do) and a pace you can still hold a conversation. Keep (!) smiling if motivation is deminishing, keep body straight up and at the same time relaxed. All the while I’m handing instructions to my sparing partner to jog backward, sideways, drippling around the centerline. Which he happily follows. Just trying to keep him motivated ya’ know…
Passed the top of the hill, I spot a frozen fox. All his attention toward the ground, expecting some sort of happening. So focused that he does not hear nor smell us. We approach until he realizes and shoots like a rocket toward the bush. How happy that makes me feel. We are spoiled to live in such a place, to experience so often that kind of encounters.
Little Gem refreshed her mind about Slow Jogging by peeking into her book on the subject. She’s all eager to apply what she read and to share her refreshed wisdom. Bubbly just as I love it.
