#6 🥕
Late afternoon: We are heading out for the longer loop - up to the forest, down to the valley, and following the little creek back into the village. I like this loop a lot, especially the part through the forest and along the creek. Today, keeping up my slow jogging pace is fine. I’m able to run most of it. Reaching the village sign is my finishing line, and we walk to the shops to pick up a few items needed to make pizza on our new Kamado grill.
Alternating between running and walking for the last stretch, while my love carries the groceries - including my heavy bottle bargain - I love him for not complaining. Fighting through the final part, focusing on the promised panaché and envisioning the pizza creations, is my “carrot” as I make my way uphill.
Happy to go check on the pizza dough that has risen slowly and nicely since this morning. Hoping the pizza experiment will turn out successfully!
The singing of the blackbirds keeps putting a smile on my face. We head out to the forest for today’s loop. Never wrong.
Sun rays, though timid, warm our faces as we head back to the village, it feels so good. We keep a slow-jog pace for quite a while, that surprises me. As we approach the village, that makes me laugh when we found the emoji of the day. She keeps jogging, keeping in front of her eyes the carrot: panaché-chips alliage.
Above “Le Clou” she evokes a fond memory, her first nights in Neuenegg. Just a few years back and yet, that’s already a little well of memories that we amassed since then.
One of our biggest loop, done in an hour with a shopping stop, very well done!
