#28 🚩

The heatwave continues. We head up to one of my fav places. From now on, I should be able to remember where it is, since we’re discussing where the similar expression Heiterefahne stems from and what it could possibly mean. I enjoy digging into those kinds of discussions. Although here, I have to pass on the origin—but guessing is fun!

We circle around the Heitere, hearing the Hornusser playing their game. It’s a smart move to be in the forest with these temperatures. Mouky is running home, while I’m spearheading on four wheels to start the BBQ.

The heat is still quasi unbearable in the woods. We walk and take in this place we both have dear. I had in mind to catch the gap there is this year against the total distance of our previous juneathon. The plan is 10, 10, 10.

Missed the goal today already with a shy 9km but 1) this heat is heavy and 2) I have a hard time with my tummy. The running section was not the usual joy. I was actually glad to reach home to actually stop running. But, let’s face it, we live in such a beautiful corner of this blue marble, the light today was fantastic. Seeing sunrays piercing into the forest is unique.

A free gift.
