#26 🚚

It’s Thursday night, after a full day of work and chores. Mouky comes home from a quick trip to town, where he met up with his friend and former flatmate.

We’re heading towards the forest, spotting the first van with wild campers this season. They’re busy preparing something inside the van, so I only catch a glimpse of a hand and a leg.

The idea of wild camping is appealing. It’s just sad that some people don’t know how to behave — and then rules and regulations take the fun out of it. These ones here seem to be keeping a low profile. I hope they enjoy this special spot.

Mouky is all bubbly and fills me in on the news from his friend. I’m happy that the two of them could meet!

We do an extended version of our usual forest loop, and I realise that the way back is the perfect stretch for my slow jogging pace. Astonishingly, there’s no pain, and I manage to keep going for the longest distance this month — even enjoying the gentle, steady descent!

2km. I think it’s the first time she jogs over 2km non-stop. Bravo!

We head for our woods-loop at the end of our day. Discussions are flowing, first me sharing the updates coming from a close friend stopping by in Bern. On short notice, we managed to have share a drink. It’s been really nice to catch up, have some laughs, seeing that life goes on and stays on the right track. Precious!. Then she starts to think and sketch plans for the after-juneathon. That’s lovely, especially that wish to keep having moving time as a couple. Not that it’s only in June that we are having that. Is she worried that we get too busy with other things after June? That’s gonna be fine, nature is part of our routine and balance. Keine Sorge!
