On our way home from France, we stop at the Chinese restaurant in our town. We place our take-out orders and go for a walk in the meantime—through communal gardens and a neighborhood Mouky knows well. He used to meet his friend Daniel here often, and he’s eagerly sharing all sorts of memories!
Grateful to enjoy our balcony and unwind after a wonderful weekend program. That General Tso’s Chicken is a delight!

Close to an energy drop, we head for another loop while our chinese takeout gets prepared. Enthusiastically walking though the community gardens I know, I share memories with my beloved one. Not that long ago, Daniel and I would spend some evenings, building a friendship that last to this day. Despite quite some distance. The neighborhood got upgrades, the fireplace we used on our last night before him heading back to Cameroon for good, is first class today, good impression!
Rewarded with a fresh Suze Tonic, on our balcony. Back home. Many new memories and strengthening moments shared later, we savor the calmness of home.
