C’est la Fête de la Musique in Mulhouse!

An annual music festival that apparently takes place across the whole country. As we step out of our charming logis, there’s plenty loud music…

We’re heading for a nice bite first—including bubbles, since it’s June 21st!—then a walk through the park and old town. DJs and a few live bands accompany us all along the way.

It’s not exactly my taste in music, but I find it interesting to watch the crowds. I get disoriented quickly, grateful I can hold on to my beloved. So happy to have such a well-insulated place to stay tonight!

Happy 21! Bubbles!

We recharge at Le Faubourg, starting with some local bubbles. It was an upbuilding day, little gem shed tears over several of the videos we enjoyed today. That must take a toll on her. Plus the heat. Plus the crowds. Plus the noise. Plus the never ending stimulations. All positive but still draining.

Before heading back home, we start Strava and have our daily activity, it’s a walk today. Back to the same park as yesterday. Filled with locals enjoying La Fête de la Musique. We feel like strangers.

With joy we step into our cool stay, the AC guarantees a 22°. All that without any noise. That adds many points to this lovely appartment we rent for the weekend. Well done little gem!
