#2 🦌

Waking up tired. The smell of coffee under my nose helps.

Off we go—into the loop we know so well.

The grass in the meadow is high; I’m seemingly not tall enough to see the deer leaping toward the forest.

We appear to be about the same height, the deer and I. What might that tell us?

A little later, I notice the first reddish cherries hanging on the tree.

They need a bit more time to ripen, to become truly tasty—just like my day feels.

In-between 2 storms, we manage to bank our jog for the day and are rewarded by a jumping young deer next to us. I wonder if she manages to see it with the grass being so high. That makes me smile.

Both of us is numb, not much is said. This early sight makes us thankful though. A lovely gift.

First time we relive a scene that we got used to experience last year. One of our neighboor walks her 2 dogs on the same loop, for once she walks in the same direction as us. One more reason to be thankful, those 2 doggies are playful and obedient, another lovely sight.
