Feeling better today. Starting very early with work - still on my efficiency trip. Once again, I was able to accomplish the goal of the day on the work front. I feel happy and relieved about this.

A Tuesday out of the norm - we’re staying home. Time to say farewell to a friend of my Beloved. What a rich and satisfying life this woman had, radiating joy for life, a love of discovering new places, and maintaining her curiosity to meet new people throughout her life. She always focused on the right and important things in life.

I did not know her personally, but her example moved me deeply. It’s a generation of bold and courageous friends whom we will soon no longer have with us - but they will remain in our memories, until we see them again.

With these thoughts in mind, we set out for our evening loop. Both of us felt grateful to have such people in our lives.

Another faithful fellow on four legs we met this afternoon - meet Charly! He’s the Bernese Mountain Dog we so often cross paths with, and he’s part of our small everyday joys. He is such a devoted dog to his master. Sadly, the master revealed that he is ill. We’re grateful we had this moment to meet this special dog and his owner.

Change is the only constant in life…

How lovely to get introduced to Charlie. We are such fans of him for some time already and yet, today for the first time we get to know his name. Sadly, we hear that he has not long to live, cancer. On top of that, Monsieur does not want to take his pills. Not much hope then. And still, how lovely it is to see him come for cuddles. This little bear, so cute. I hope that the master will get a baby one as he mentioned.

I’m grateful that little gem made it to attend another special moment today. Hearing a short overview of Marguerite’s filled and fulfilled life was moving. Sad and inspiring at the same time. I look forward to see her again and to introduce my little gem to her.

At the end of this day, we head for our default loop, the weather is very pleasant. The golden colors, the agreable temperature, her being more present, able to chat and share, laugh and enjoy our end of the day snack, that’s a joyful moment. Her knee is slowly an issue though, we’ll see how this evolve. Barely able to jog today. I had my second loop to let the legs roll and that was good too.

Bubbles!
