#10 😤
Home early from town. We are both busy with different things before going for the loop a little later in the evening. I’m in an Angry Bird mood after an unpleasant encounter, grateful to have someone listening to my venting. Tonight, I’m not noticing any of my surroundings — my view feels clogged.
We are still experiencing the dusts from Canada’s fires as we go for our usual loop. She feels tense, the more we progress the quieter she gets. I feel sorry and kind of helpless. Unable to nudge her into jog pace, we walk the whole round. I head for another lap today, not that I’m in better shape really but I need to sweat a bit.
She sits barefoot on our terrasse as I’m arriving home. I wish I could just remove this tension. Another message made things even worse now, she relates, as I’m sitting down next to her.
“The insight of a man certainly slows down his anger”. I love her for applying this wisdom in her dealings with others. I see her struggling and yet this desire to do things right and promote peace is constantly there, thinking thoroughly what to do, what to say. I’m so lucky to spend my life at her side. Going for a walk is never wrong to help one to slow down his anger, sometimes though we need Higher support.
