Monday is always a packed day, between office, laundry and cooking. Nice to step out after work, into what feels like the first summer day this year! The air is pleasantly warm, it smells like fresh cut grass. We walk, as jogging is down to almost zero taday, till the bench after the plant nursery. It bugs me being in this state. We catch up with the happenings of the day, conversations flow effortlessly. I enjoy our time together. I see two friendly tiger cats along the way, which make me smile. Last night I dreamt I’ve got a cat. A beautiful one, with a very unusual tiger pattern, more like a bird pattern. I was amazed and loved this cute little being. It felt so real! But my nightly visons are falling on deaf ears before my best friend…
I wander on my juneathon blog posts collection from almost ten years ago. That feels like a life ago, which it is to some extent. I did struggle more with the tummy and I was talking more about it back then, it was clearly more of an annoyance. Thanks to a tiny pill, I barely ever think anymore to this problem in my daily life. Mindblowing. On Juneathon #17, 9 years ago, I would go for a run at 5.49pm, a loop leading me to the Lac Léman. Today, an after work session with the love of my life, we head under the sun for a walk, debrief the day, enjoy being together. My tummy is no issue, but the daily load these days is getting heavy on my shoulders. I’m still 9 years older.
