#16 Hornussen

Bubbles we had! Waking up with need for coffee, usual, and the desire to benefit from outdoors. Not far from home, we explore a new corner in the woods. A beautiful glade suddenly opens up in this big forest, inhabited by only some farmers. A large piece of land, resembling a golf course, is ready for the teams to play Hornussen. We circle the meadow, it’s incredibly peaceful this secluded spot. Am surprised that I’m able to jog for a bit longer than the previous days, despite the aches. A little push, yes, but don’t need to force myself. Maybe this new exercise I started doing, to use the stepper, is helpful. In anticipation of a brunch with homemade cocobread, lemon curd and fresh strawberries I am heading home, while my Beloved is following running his usual pace. Boy, this man can run!

Sunday, the day of rest. We clearly need rest. We string one loaded week with the next and welcome a night without any alarm clock. Happy to brainstorm where to go for today’s jog, sipping our coffee still in bed. We set for Heitere, around a hornussen place (the golf of the swiss farmers). It’s nice to see that little gem manages today to jog for a longer period. Her pain is clearly not set in stone, every day is a surprise. A great start into the second half of this juneathon!
